Meet the Team



 

“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always offering prayer with joy in my prayer for you all, in view of your participation in the gospel from the first day until now.” (Philippians 1:3-5) 

LHBC has a wonderful team of 17 individuals set to share the gospel and serve in Romania June 19 - July 1, 2025. We will be partnering with Ocna Sugatag Baptist Church and sharing about Christ while serving in several ministries: eyeglass ministry, VBS, orphan care, helping hands / widow care, maternity center, hospital visits, providing seminars, construction projects, and sermons.

Hello from Romania!

          We successfully were able to catch our connecting flight in Munich, and we made it to Romania! Thank you all for praying for us! Praise God for his providence and going ahead of us to prepare the way!      We arrived in Cluj and got all of our checked bags, and then Alex and two others from the local church picked us up in some vans and we all had a lovely dinner just outside of Cluj. After dinner we drove three hours north to Ocna Sugatag and got settled in. Prayer Requests: - Pray for good rest, it was a long travel day (~30hrs of traveling altogether) Thank you for reading and keeping us in your prayers ~ Team Romania 2025

Travel Day!

       Today is our travel day! As you can see, we have many bags to take with us! Our flight leaves from Vancouver BC, Canada, so we had to rent two vans to take us there from the church. God was gracious and getting through border crossing into Canada was a breeze, and we arrived at the Vancouver airport with plenty of time to spare! Our flight is scheduled to depart at 6:50pm and we are supposed to arrive in Munich, Germany at 1:30pm June 20th where we have a quick turnaround to make our next flight to Cluj, Romania which is scheduled to begin boarding at 2:10pm.  We are all very excited to arrive in Romania and meet the people we are going to serve! Prayer Requests for today: - Please be praying that we can make our connecting flight, the turnaround is very quick! - Continue to be praying for the health and safety of each team member.
